What is an e-book?

An e-book is a book you can download via the internet. It comes as an .exe file which means that it runs as a program in it's own right.

The e-book can be accessed any time and read off the screen or it can be printed out and kept as hard copy.

The e-book contains links to useful websites. If you are reading it whilst on-line these links will be live.

With a single mouse click you can jump to the contents page which provides you with a broad overview of the book's subject matter. One more click will take you straight to the section of your choice.

The e-book also contains a powerful search engine which means that you can instantly access any section of the book just by remembering a single word or phrase from it.
